Swimming Lessons

Isabella had her first swimming lesson today at the YMCA. We were pretty sure she would love it since bathtime is her favorite part of the day. She spends most of the time crawling around the tub exploring. She is always trying to put her face in the water which scares daddy to death...especially when this is followed by a cough to empty out all the water she just inhaled. As you can see in her pictures, she was more than excited about her big day! She learned how to kick on a kickboard, blow bubbles, and float on her back. She even met a new litle boy, Kasey, who she thought was pretty cute!! She put on her flirtiest smile to woo him. Her daddy is going to be in big trouble in a few years:)

Ouchie!!

It's hard to believe that Isabella is almost 10 months old, but she is. We went for our 9 mo. checkup this week (hers are a few wks. behind because she came a little early). Dr. Phillips says she is doing great. She is growing like a weed & crawling all over the place. She is officially 16 lbs. and 4 oz..not big to most, but huge to us! She got her first finger prick today. She was a trooper, and came out with her very first big girl band-aid..Dora!
She is becoming a very curious little girl. She has to investigate everything that she sees. She likes to use all of her senses. It just wouldnt' be right to look at a piece of catfood w/o putting in her mouth to make sure it isn't something she should be adding to her diet. Chance really appreciates that!!

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas was very exciting this year with a new little(well not so little any more) present to enjoy! We spent Christmas Eve with Bryan's family and Christmas Day at my mom's house.

Isabella had so much fun with all of her family...especially Sylvi! They are becoming great buds!! Sylvi helps feed Bella & Bella loves letting Sylvi practice to be a big sister. They are going to be a handful together before too long.

We miss everyone & hope to see everyone soon! I can only pray that you all felt as blessed as we did this Christmas!!
